Volunteering at Woodlawn

Long-range plans developed by the Board of Trustees of Historic Woodlawn Cemetery call for the development of three new programs which will be volunteer-driven and supported by staff:

Docent Program

Future plans call for the creation of a docent program. Docents will lead regularly scheduled tours of Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Participation in this program will require learning the history of Woodlawn.

Friends of Woodlawn

This will be an "auxiliary" to the cemetery. Fundraising activities and special events are a top priority of this support group. ($25 minimum annual dues)

Woodlawn Garden Club

The Garden Club will advise the cemetery on plantings and help to maintain several floral areas within the Cemetery.
