Approximately 5,500 Civil War veterans are buried at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. The Woodlawn Veterans Memorial Day Association hosts an annual Memorial Day ceremony for military veterans and places more than 2,000 flags on veterans' graves. The public is invited to attend this ceremony.

Yes. Historic Woodlawn Cemetery has designated Section 23V exclusively for the interment of fallen veterans and their spouses. The cemetery offers a package when making pre-need arrangements.
